Om du besöker Malta under perioden 1 juni - 31 december 2021, och bor på anslutna hotell under minst 3 nätter, så kan du få en statlig rabatt på hotellnotan med upp till 200 EUR.
Detta som ett led i landets kamp om de internationella turisterna.
Hotell som är anslutna till erbjudandet kommer att presenteras på Visit Malta - The Official Tourism Site for Malta, Gozo and Comino (from 15 maj).
Observera att alla bokningar behöver göras direkt med hotellet för att erbjudandet skall gälla.

Good afternoon Mattias,
Thank you for contacting the MTA customer care unit and choosing Malta for your holiday.
Kindly note that to benefit from the Free Independent Travellers scheme, you would need to apply and book via your desired hotel. The Free Independent Travellers (FIT) scheme involves having part of your hotel costs/stay deducted from your hotel bill at check out. Each hotel will have its own terms and conditions for the scheme, including the minimum stay or other offers and conditions. There won't be cash hand-outs being made to travellers.
The FIT scheme shall become available for Tourists who book from the 1st June 2021 only.
(Booking and travel is valid between 1 June 2021 until 31 December 2021 only)
Existing bookings do not qualify for this scheme. We will have the updated hotel list in the coming weeks (circa 15th May) on our website Visit Malta - The Official Tourism Site for Malta, Gozo and Comino , Then you will be able to check the hotel offer on their official website and chose the one you would like to book.
Please note that all bookings must be done directly on the Hotel reservation page online and not through a travel agent or a third-party booking engine.
